Modify filters layout
Google · E-commerce
Google modifies the way filters are displayed on the list of results page. This test is designed to measure whether users find the horizontal filter layout with the blue highlight more visually appealing and user-friendly than the vertical layout used in the control. By comparing user engagement the company can determine which version of the search results page is more effective in helping users find the information they need.
Version A
This variation of Google Travel's search results page displays filters vertically on the left-hand side of the page.
Version B
On this variation, the filters are displayed horizontally at the top of the search results page, with a blue highlight to draw attention to them.
